Dr. Paul Draheim, DVM - Veterinarian/Owner

Paul graduated from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. After 17 year of practicing veterinary medicine in the Shoreview community area, he opened Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital in November 2001. Experienced surgeon and diagnostician. Owner of Gracie, Catherine, Jack and Jojo, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Fanny the cat. Hobbies include biking, gardening, camping and cross country skiing. Family resides in northern Roseville.

"I have been with animals all my life. The best part of being a veterinarian is seeing the bond between a pet and the family members. Most people love their pets and are an integral part of their daily lives. It has been my dream to have a veterinary hospital that provides high quality care and a relaxed friendly atmosphere."

Cindy Higgins - Office Manager/Receptionist

Cindy spent two years studying art at U of W, River Falls before finishing her college education at the U of M, Carlson School of Management. After working in Marketing at Deluxe Corp. and NCS Pearson she is enjoying the break from the corporate world, working part time at Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital, and part time on her art. Most of the art work on the walls at the animal hospital is Cindy's. Owner of Cavaliers King Charles Spaniels Gracie and her puppy, Catherine and Catherine's sons Jack and Jojo.  Her cat Fanny loves all the dogs and tries to wash them every chance she gets.

"Being laid off from my last corporate position was an opportunity for me to do the things I really love to do -- working with the animals and their owners, and creating art. Paul and I both feel very blessed and frequently comment on what nice, nice clients and animals we get to work with."

Cathy Costello - Certified Veterinary Technician

Cathy graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota with a 4.0 GPA. She has been working as a veterinary technician for over ten years in the St. Paul area. Her work at the hospital includes assisting surgery, dentistry and radiology, as well as helping out with the everyday concerns of illness and preventative care. In her free time Cathy is happiest at home spending her time cooking or sitting out in her yard in Highland Park with her two rescue cats reading a good book.

Lynne Haas

Lynne graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She did a three month internship following her schooling before working full time as a technician. She has been working with dogs and cats since March of 1982. She lives in Lino Lakes with her husband and two children. She recently acquired a German Shorthair Pointer puppy named Valor.
